Happy birthday my bro

Today is my brother birthday. Now his become much fat and taller than me. Seriously woo.. and this night will be New year. Horrayy..

but i can`t celebrate since this week im working night shift from 10 pm to 6 am. After that i going back home and sleep till 11 pm before wakeup and launch.

Change Document and Setting from C to D

This method bassicly move your documents and settings from C drive to another drive example D. So do it with your own risk.

1.At the Run Command box, type “regedit”

2.Locate “My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft \Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList”. Modify “%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings” to “d:\Documents and Settings”. Exit from Registry Editor when done.



3.Create (DO NOT COPY from C drive) a new folder “d:\Documents and Settings”.

4.Copy folder “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users” into “d:\Documents and Settings”

The last time I check this google maps with satellite images at my family's home was not in bigger resolution. Then today i try try to check back. It seems satellite images in Sungai Besar was updated with better resolution so you can zoom in.

Batteries that can run 10 times more

Using laptop in battery mode is painful which is the power will out in 2 hours (i guess). So a student in Stanford University have doing some homework to come out with redesign rechargeable li-ion batteries using silicon nanowires. The result, the batteries have 10 times more longer than current one.

Report says that a laptop that runs on that kind batteries can operate for 20 hours. So after using it can we at least recharge batteries once in a day? For more info head over to this page.

Enable back Hibernation in Vista

Got problem la after using disk cleanup wizard in windows vista which is 'disappear' the hibernate option. Hey Microsoft go and fix the bug. After going work today, doing some google and found the solution.


Here the step for enable back hibernation option in Windows Vista

goto run>cmd (you must in administrator account) or else run as administrator (ctrl+shift+Enter).

type the following code.... 'powercfg /hibernate on' (without the quote) then ENTER.

restart vista.... Walla... the hibernation is back.

bertanya kepada lelaki berkenaan. "Apakah bendanya ini"? Lelaki itu
berkata,"Ia adalah gelang perubatan". Rasullulalah
bersabda,"Sesungguhnya benda itu tidak memberi apa-apa(faedah
wlpun utk tujuan perubatan),buangkan benda itu drp. diri anda, jika
sekiranya anda mati dan benda itu ada pada diri anda, maka anda tidak
akan berjaya (selamat) untuk selama-lamanya." Hadis Sahih yg ke-19,885

Change User password in Windows

Changing a user password especially administrator account is easier with command line. It can be done without any problem and can be done without logout the current user. Here how to do it. Tested and work in Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista Home Basic (but have a problem to run as user).

First open windows command shell (cmd)
Then type hostname
Type runas /user:’hostname’\administrator cmd (we want to run cmd with root[very powerful user] privilege)



Then system will prompt password for current user.. Just enter the current one.
The new cmd windows will comeout
Then type net user administrator * (note: * for the password not visible)
Type new password.

Re-type the password back then enter.



For verify the passwd change or not use runas /user:’hostname’\administrator cmd
Enter the new password, if the cmd windows comeout then success.

Becareful torrentian sekalian!

Most of us turn on our computer 24/7, we go to isohunt, torrentspy, torrentmalaya and so on. Using torrent client like Bitcomet, utorrent, bitlord, bittorrent and etc. But be careful fellow 'torrenter'. I come across this and it seems like our ‘friendly’ Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry will be cracking down on such activities pretty soon. Considering that pirated software vendors have are almost non-existent in our regular IT centres, it’s not really surprising that downloaders were next on the list.

According to the report from The Star, If you download material illegally from the Internet, you can be fined a minimum of RM250,000 while the maximum fine is RM500,000. Actually this penalty was legislated more than 10 years ago under the Copyright Act, but it has yet to be fully enforced.

According to Deputy Minister Datuk S. Veerasingam, cracking down on Internet download offenders was also gaining momentum. If the government is start to get serious about it, we might start hearing the first charges to be filed against downloaders in the next couple of months. It’ll be interesting to see what happens then

Ubuntu 7.10 on PS3

Why put a Linux OS like Ubuntu on game console, PS3? Well in PS3 already has an OS called XMB (PS3 operating system). The Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon (7.10) have been improved for the PS3 hardware. Now It can recognize all the components of the PS3 console, like Blu-ray unit, the Gelic network card, USB port and Bluetooth port and even the sound system. The installation itself takes 40 minutes (how long it is take for normal pc to install ?) and quite fast on PS3 console.

Zorro, Robin Hood & Orang Asli....

Pada satu ketika, ada satu pertandingan untuk orang ramai menunjukkan kehebatan masing masing menggunakan senjata. Ada 2 peserta yang dapat masuk akhir, Zorro ngan Robin Hood.

Mereka berdua pun masuk dalam hutan untuk berjalan jalan sambil mencari idea untuk pertandingan mereka. Sedang berjalan jalan, mereka terjumpa seorang perempuan dari kaum orang asli yang sungguh cantik. Mereka berdua sepakat untuk bertarung dan siapa yang menang akan dapat perempuan tersebut.

Mereka pun memanggil perempuan tersebut dan meletakkan sebiji epal diatas kepala perempuan itu. Memula Zorro nak mulakan pertandingan. Dia pun bergerak sejauh 50 meter dari perempuan itu dan membaling PEDANG nya kearah epal diatas kepala perempuan tu. Zuuupppp, terbelah dua epal tu. Perhgggg, dengan bangganye, si Zorro jerit...

"I AM ZORRO....."

Kemudian giliran Robin Hood plak. Dia mengambil jarak 100 meter. Kemudian menggunakan ANAK PANAH nye. Zuuupppp, terbelah dua epal yg baru diletak atas kepala perempuan asli tu.
Dengan bangganye jugak.... si Robin Hood kata....

Sedang mereka bertarung, lalu lah seorang penduduk lelaki orang asli disitu. Dia merasa tercabar kerana dengan senang lenang nye pompuan kaum dia nak kena kawin ngan orang luar. So, atas rasa tanggungjawab, dia pun masuk pertandingan tu jugak. Dengan menggunakan sumpit dan jarak 150 meter, kini giliran orang asli tu plak.

MIMOS is also working on a low-cost tablet PC called the CyberTablet that would cater to primary and secondary school students. The CyberTablet would mainly be used in education, especially the smart schools, to 'enhance' teaching and learning experience. Well from experience, anything that enters school usually ends up not being fun so I doubt the students will be enjoying a game of WOW or F.E.A.R with the CyberTablet should it come out and be implemented.

Its great to see that something is being developed here in order to reduce the digital divide though we'll just have to wait and see WHEN it will actually come out. And just in case you're wondering how much these devices will cost, well the MAK-CIK PC has an expected target retail price of less than US$160 while the CyberTablet should cost between US$160 to US$300.
